A Private company Sells Lost Airplane Luggage

If you ever lost a checked bag at the airport, chances are it ended up for sale.

Where does your luggage go after an extensive search at an airport? It doesn't just disappear. According to the HUSTLE, Once it's written off as unclaimed, it sits in a collection depot for 3 months. Then the airline sells it to a private company. Once they get the luggage, they open it, divides it into categories and marks them for sale.

Sounds crazy right? Almost not right. But if it's not claimed then 'finders keepers' comes into place.
